It also has good plasticity, toughness, and excellent weldability, but its strength is generally not high, andits yield strength is low.It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment,but the tensile strength can be increased and its elasticity can be improved after cold pressing.
Typical ones such as 2Cr13, GX – 8, have magnetism, good shock resistance, good thermal conductivity, high strength, and yield limit. They have good comprehensive mechanical properties after heat treatment strengthening.
It has the characteristics of low density, good corrosion resistance, and high thermal conductivity. It is widely used in the aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries After surface treatment such as anodizing, it can obtain good wear – resistance and decorative properties.
It has good surface quality and mechanical properties, and is easy to process. It is widely used in the manufacture of various mechanical parts, automotive parts, and electronic product shells. But its corrosion resistance is poor, and it needs to be protected by painting, electroplating, or other methods.
